Not much doing today, weather starting to get very warm, going to get even hotter.

just lazing about and tv in the evening.
Monday 18th July 2016
Big bathroom works expected today didn't happen, after we had cleared everything out of the bathroom, just sent another jobsworth to do another assessment.
Went to North Shields to look at wallpaper for Graeme, Val found what he wanted, I still think full length stripes in a big room is a mistake.
Went to Hoults for one of their famous pork sandwiches I'm afraid the quality and size have gone down a lot since the last time I had one. We won't make the mistake of buying one again.
Went and sat on the prom. at the fish quay, very busy there and there was a seal swimming about 10 yards from the shore.

Very hot in the night, very hot this morning
busy putting everything back in the bathroom before it gets too hot to do anything, after that spent most of the day lying on the bed keeping cool with a fan on.
Phone call from the caravan engineer, the part for the hot water had arrived and would come and do the other repairs as well at 7.30. So all done now and ready for another holiday next week.
Saffron and Jenn came to collect a case for Saffrons cloths and things for the holiday.

Hot night and very hot again this morning, expected thunder storms didn't materialise here.
Went to Blyth to meet Cliff and look around the market, but everyone was packing up as it had gone very dark, started to rain quite heavy but not enough to wet anything, just a minute of thunder and lightning.
A little shopping at Sainsbury's then home for lunch and a rest out of the heat.
Can't get any further with P.F.P about when the bathroom is going to get done.
just going to be another evening with TV. too hot to concentrate on anything on the computer.

Shopping at the Silverlink, I went in Currys to see what offers they had on Tablet computers, seen one I like but a bit expensive.
Into the sports shop for socks and Tshirts, Val was in the pound shop getting bits we needed for the holiday.
Still too hot to do much except rest.
Friday 22 July 2016
Val's birthday today, nothing special planned except getting a take-away tonight. I feel bad about forgetting to get a birthday card especially looking at all the things she does for me.
Went back to the Silver Link and bought a new Surface 3 for doing photos and keeping in touch when we are away on holidays.
Nice take-away but still too hot to do much so just relaxing again with TV.

just a little bit of shopping at the farm shop and farm foods.
At Graeme's to put stuff in the caravan and take the roof box off our car, don't need the storage as Petra is hiring a car for the week we are away on holiday
Scorching hot again, some thunder about but not much rain.
Sunday 24th July 2016
Last lot of washing done and on the line, Val doing some ironing.
Still very hot and no more rain so gave the garden a good water with the hose pipe.
