Daily Blog Thursday 7th July

Not actually raining when we woke up, so a scramble to get the awning, carpet and ground sheet packed away before they got wet again, the ground sheet is quite muddy so will have to be cleaned when we get home. Also 2 small leaks in the awning so if we get a dry day we'll re-waterproof it.
Half way through packing up we went to the village for a wonderful full Scottish breakfast at the "Village Rest" bistro.
Last job , empty the waste water hogg and toilet cassette and we were ready to go at 12.30
Of course as soon as we set off the heavy rain started again, very heavy traffic on the roads and at Glasgow it was impossible to get into the right lane, due to ignorant drivers, so we headed for th Edinburgh bypass and came home down the A1, arrived home about 4.30. Just got essentials out of the caravan and crashed out exhausted for the evening.
