LACK OF RESPECT

Whatever happened to RESPECT!..........The weekend Rant!

Sitting in the hospital waiting room, I've been doing a lot of that lately, I notice that about 80% of the men waiting for treatment are wearing scruffy jeans, dirty, stained Tshirts, trainers that have seen better days or shoes that haven't been cleaned since they walked across a plowed field.
Today one very obese man with an equally obese wife and three children came into the waiting room. The children were running around unchecked banging doors and generally being a nuisance. The man was dressed in a Tshirt that looked as if he had just finished painting the shed and it didn't come anywhere near meeting his equally scruffy shorts, he also had old trainers with no socks. He took out a mobile phone and was talking to someone in a very loud voice when the nurse came and called him to see the specialist. He shouted across the room "can't you see I'm on the phone you stupid bitch" I think his appointment got put back several places as the nurse just call someone else in.

The clinic today was for people with appointments, not a drop in clinic, so people had plenty of time to get ready to come here.
Do these slobs not realise that the Nurses, Doctors and Specialists have devoted a large portion of their lives learning their skills to make them more comfortable and healthy.
